Synopsis: The Summer Swallowed by Darkness

After her grandmother’s passing, Na Suhyeon returns to her hometown, leaving behind her city life. Drawn by an inexplicable force, she climbs Obong Mountain—a place her grandmother had strictly forbidden her from entering while alive. Lost deep in the woods and facing a mysterious danger, Suhyeon is rescued by a man named Seo Munju, who appears unharmed even after being beheaded. Munju claims that Suhyeon is the reincarnation of Gang Yuhwa, his former spiritual mother and a shaman, and that the strange occurrences began when she set foot on the mountain. Though wary of Munju, Suhyeon witnesses the chaos caused by vengeful spirits empowered by stolen sacred relics once buried in Gang Yuhwa’s grave. Moved by a sense of responsibility, she decides to help recover the five relics. Munju suspects that the evil spirit who once drove Gang Yuhwa to her death is now reacting to Suhyeon’s aura and desecrated her grave. Now, Suhyeon and Munju set out to confront tormented spirits and reclaim the relics. Can they exorcise the evil spirit and end Munju’s eternal curse?
