Synopsis: The Five Star Stories

The Joker Star Cluster is the backdrop of The Five Star Stories and consists of four stars: the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern, and a fifth star, a comet called Stant, which has its own orbiting planets and appears every 1,500 years. In the past, the Farus Di Kanon Empire, also dubbed the "Super Empire," ruled over all four solar systems in the Joker Cluster. The empire's advanced technology and exploration of the galaxy allowed it to thrive until it succumbed to internal strife and collapsed approximately in 9000 AD (Ammon Duul). Subsequently, civilization regressed, knowledge and technology were lost, and the imperial families of Amaterasu, Fillmore, and Hathuha established the JC era to advocate for peace, though this ideal remains unattainable. The events of The Five Star Stories unfold in JC 2988, a period characterized by interstellar travel, genetically modified "fatimas," and frequent wars among nations with few prospects for harmony.
